Leather and Steam

Leather and Steam, by Sidney Eileen

Leather and Steam

This is a photo of me taken at the Edison in LA on New Year’s Eve. The leather brassier I drafted and made from scratch on the 30th before we headed down south. The hardware is riveted on. On the back is a compass rose design that I painted on it the same night.

The leather pants are split cowhide, hand sewn by my dear friend, Diana, several years ago. They are historically accurate men’s frontier pants from the Fur Trade Era of America.
