Corset Styles – Fully Boned

Fully boned corsets have boning from edge to edge, in all possible areas.  In conical style corsets, full boning ensures a rigid conical shape even at very large sizes.  It is also period for many styles of conical corsets.

In Victorian corsets, full boning means that there are bones placed edge-to-edge at the waistline of the corset front to back.  This is more boning than is ever necessary for the corset to keep its shape, but can look stunning.

Full boning can be done with any kind of boning I use, be it spring steel flats, spiral steels, or reed.
