Sidney Eileen creates realistic art treasures from photos of your loved ones. All photos will be returned when the portrait is complete.

Photos are very important to the ability of the artist to accurately depict your furry friends. When you provide a few photos taken with care the portrait can easily be an accurate depiction of your companion. There are some simple rules to follow when providing the photographs Sidney will use to create the portrait.

First, the photo must be in focus.

Second, the lighting must be good. That means preferably natural (sunlight) without any shadows that hide the pets features. Even, bright lighting will also suffice.

Third, one of the photos should be a good shot of your pet’s head and eyes in natural light (preventing red-eye or reflective-eye) this enables Sidney to capture the window to your pet’s soul and personality. Without a good shot of the animal’s eyes the portrait cannot be rendered accurately.

Fourth, one of the photos must be of the pose and surroundings (if any) you wish to see in the final portrait. Any additional photos should show details of your pet's features that might be difficult to see in the other photos.

If you live in the Sacramento or Davis Area Sidney is willing to meet with you and take the photos herself ensuring the shots she will need to work with.
