Commissioning Art Originals Currently artwork is offered in five standard sizes of paper, and can be created either with coloured pencil or in black and white using graphite. If you would like a special size of paper, please email your request. Pieces are shipped matted, backed, and shrink-wrapped in order to protect the pencil work. Additionally simple framing is also available so that your piece is ready to hang upon arrival. All papers and matting materials are acid free and of archival quality to ensure generations of enjoyment. The final price of the piece is determined by size, art medium, background, and the number of subjects. The addition of a human companion to the portrait is available, as are backgrounds. These extras vary in price depending on the size of the piece and the complexity of the extra feature. Each additional subject is usually an extra $50-$150. Backgrounds are usually an extra $100-$300. Framing is extra, and is determined by the size of the piece and frame chosen. Please inquire about available frames and exact prices. No deposit is required. When the artwork is complete, Sidney will email you a digital image for your approval. Only after payment has been received in full will the portrait be shipped.
