These corsets are styled after the fashion profiles of the late Victorian and Edwardian. Underbusts come up to right under the bust, or just a bit below. Waist cinchers usually just cover from the bottom of the rib cage to the top of the hips.

I like the look, but how is it under day-to-day clothing. (jean and shirt)
Also wondering about difficulty with sitting.
Some people wear corsets daily as undergarments, as they were worn for centuries. Sometimes I wear mine under my normal clothes and I’m completely comfortable doing so, but not everyone will be comfortable wearing a corset. In general, a light-lacing corset will be the easiest to wear for an extended amount of time. Light-lacing is the minimum amount of waist reduction needed for the corset to stay in place, and that’s typically 10% of your waist measurement or less. I’m a dress size 14, with a waist measurement of 32″, so my personal corset takes out only 3″. There are differences in how you will move in a corset, but they don’t usually significantly impact what a person is capable of doing.
As for jeans and shirt, it will depend upon the cut of the corset vs. the cut of the clothing. Low-rise jeans can get hung up on the bottom edge of a corset as you move around, so higher waist jeans combined with lower hipped corset will tend to work better.
I don’t have difficulty sitting, but I am comfortable in different chairs when wearing a corset. Perching on stools works well, and deep soft sofas tend to get a grip and not want to let go. My friends who have had real trouble sitting are much larger, dress sizes of 20 and up, because at those sizes a corset will push some of the abdomen down into the lap and making many normal actions very uncomfortable.
I like this a lot and want one to wear much of the time. Is this suitable. I am a plus size, with a waist of 44, and hips 58. Would you make this one in that size, would you recommend this one for me? I need a corset that is short like this one is, and like the style. How much would it cost? I live in AZ, and can come to San Francisco, but not often.
