Bone the Side Panels
After the cover layer is in place, mark the center of the panel with chalk.
Stitch along the chalk mark. This will be the guide for the boning channels.
Stitch the boning channels along the entire panel.
Insert the boning.
Center the boning in the panel and stitch at the bone ends to secure them in place. Do not leave the boning loose in the channels, or the boning will shift up and down and wear a hole through your corset.

Hello Sidney, I am finally going to try and make a ribbon corset using your tutorial as a guide. I think that I have read it at least three times! I wanted to thank you for so many details. I agree that being able to do as much marking on the pieces will help not to mix them up. I know that I will need to focus.
