Lupus Runners - Ultramarathon Training

The Lupus Runners are a group of marathon runners accepting donations on behalf of the Lupus Foundation of America. They turned the Minimalist Running Wolf 1 purple (the official color used by the Lupus Foundation of America) and added their slogan for use on their official t-shirts and promotional materials.

Mission Wolf

100% of the profits generated through the sale of this portrait of Mowgli go to Mission Wolf, a wolf and wolf hybrid sanctuary in Colorado.

Limited Edition Prints
I am producing a run of 100 limited prints. They are 13"x19" canvas, printed with 100% art quality, archival materials and inks, giclee quality. They are individually hand-signed and numbered. The prints are $100 each, 100% of which will be donated to Mission Wolf. If shipping is required, I determine the exact shipping cost and bill that amount to reimburse my expense.

Mowgli
"Mowgli is an incredible wolf. He was born in April of 1995 at Mission Wolf-- he along with his siblings have all lived out their lives at the sanctuary. He has always been a confident wolf --strong and intense. Not accepting of too many people --Mowgli spends his time in a large natural habitat with his female companion, Spirit. Spirit was a rescue. Mowgli Lived for a time with his siblings but grew up to be an alpha personality which conflicted with his siblings needs to also be alpha. (In the wild they can get away from one another and often choose to disperse. In captivity however they can't so it's up to people to interpret before a wolf gets hurt or killed.) As they age they began to slow down. Mowgli is still staying strong even as some of his siblings are showing their age and have cancer or passed on. In the wild wolves are lucky to live 8-9 years. At the sanctuary here we have had wolves live to be 18 years old. And unfortunately cancer is the biggest culprit and contributer of death to captive wolves living longer than 10. As Mowgli enters his senior years he is doing it with grace and attitude. Who knows maybe he will live to be 19 or 20 even."
