Ordering Your Corset Bookmark and Share

Every corset I make is custom created, from design, to drafting, to finishing details. The options are practically limitless, which makes it impossible for me to create an online ordering form. Please submit your inquiry via email, and provide as much information as you can about what kind of corset you are looking for. If you're not exactly sure, let me know, and we can discuss the possibilities. As we converse, I will provide detailed price quotes along with the options, so there are never any surprises.

Examples of past work are displayed in my Custom Corsets gallery.  Basic pricing information is on Styles and Options - Corset Pricing Guide.  For direct inquiries and personalized quotes, don't hesitate to contact me.

Mock-ups

If you are nervous about ordering a custom corset over the internet, I'll be happy to provide a mock-up. It is usually just $30 by mail within the US, and $40 internationally. When it arrives, it only requires a little time with a friend's help to lace it up and mark any places that don't fit exactly perfectly.

Fittings

Live in the Sacramento area, San Francisco, northern East Bay, or North Bay Area? I live in Davis, and will be happy to meet you in person for measurements and fittings. If you come to me, all measurements and mock-up fittings are free. If you're within the listed areas, I'll come to you, but I may ask $10 or $20 per trip for my gas and time, depending upon how far away you are.

Drafting Discount

Want to buy a less expensive version of your corset before investing in expensive options and fabrics? I keep every pattern I make, so if you love the fit of your corset and want another from the same pattern, I give a $30 discount because I can get right to work without needing to re-draft.

Basic Corsets

Don't need something fancy? Wondering what my lowest prices are? I will make corsets for the listed base price of each style. At that price, the corset is just the two core layers of coutil in white, black, or tea-stain. There is no front opening, and no lacing panel. Even at the base price, the corset will be fully functional and wearable. Add just a front opening, and it's even suitable for tightlacing.

Re-enactment Corsets

Want a corset for re-enactment? I am experienced with historic re-enactment, and can recreate corsets to match the styles and visual profiles required for accurate costuming. Provide me with the decade or era, country, and segment of society, or photos of the kind of costume the corset will be worn with, and I can create the appropriate underpinnings. The prices listed are for modern construction materials and methods, but if you want true historic accuracy in your corset, I will be more than happy to make a reproduction corset. Hand-sewn eyelets, linen canvas core fabric, and even hand-stitching are among the historic details that can be included.

Trans-Gender, Specialty, Costume, and Cosplay Corsets

Trans-gender, padded and molded, unusual and asymmetrical designs, cosplay designs, and any other unique and stylized corset ideas are all welcome.  Each and every corset I make is unique to the customer's measurements and desires, so almost anything is possible.

Tightlacing Corsets

Every corset I make is of a quality to withstand the rigors of tight-lacing.  When you order your corset, simply specify the amount of waist reduction you are comfortable with and I'll be happy to draft it into the design.

Guaranteed Workmanship

I guarantee my work, so if the corset is less than perfect when it arrives, don't hesitate to let me know as soon as possible so we can fix the problem or replace the corset as needed.  I make a limited lifetime guarantee that the corset will be free of defects in materials or manufacture.  The guarantee does not cover normal wear and tear or damage that occurs as a direct result of its use or improper storage.

During the life of the corset, many issues crop up (even normal wear and tear or accidental damage) that can often be mended at a low cost or sometimes for free.  No matter how long you have had your corset, I will be happy to hear from you.

Guaranteed Fit

Even without a mock-up, as long as I am provided accurate measurements I guarantee the fit of my corsets when they arrive.  Even if the ill fit is a result of innaccurate measurements, it might be possible to modify the corset to fit for a small fee.  I do not guarantee the fit if the customer's measurements change (weight loss or gain).  If you are planning to diet, please mention this during the quote and design process so we can discuss some of the design options available to customers who are transitioning through sizes.

Shipping Time

All of my items are carefully packaged to help ensure they reach their destinations safely. Ready-to-ship items are typically sent out within five days of payment clearing. Custom items are sent out within five days of completion or payment clearing, whichever happens later. Delivery time depends upon the destination, but is typically within 3-5 days with the USA.

Shipping Methods

I use the USPS Priority mail for most of my shipping within the USA, with delivery confirmation and insurance added. For international orders, I use the USPS Global Express Guarantee, which includes tracking and insurance. All international orders must pass through customs, and I will need to check for any special requirements of the destination country. For example, clothing items may not be imported to Italy, so I cannot mail any corset or costume items to an address in that country.

Special Shipping Requirements

If you have special shipping requirements, please ask. I am usually willing to make special arrangements. All items are shipped with insurance and delivery confirmation when possible. For orders shipped outside the USA, if your country charges customs fees on imported goods you are responsible for those fees. Also, if there is any question regarding shipping costs, I will verify the actual shipping costs and adjust the billing accordingly.

Payment Options

I require a 25% non-refundable deposit before starting work on any corset.  The balance of the purchase price plus shipping is due at any time before I ship the corset.  This means it can be paid up front, in installments while the corset is being made, or after the corset is finished.  It's up to you.
