I have set up several more Elizabethan blackwork designs as fabrics on Spoonflower, and released the first of those publicly a few days ago.  My plan is to release a new design roughly once a week until they are all available to you.  For now any sales will go into buying more samples of more designs to create more historically appropriate fabrics for you.

The first fabrics are all outline style blackwork, so they can easily be embroidered over.  I am also playing with digitally enhancing those images to be more fully detailed, with more stitching and fill patterns, so they will be even more stunning to use as-printed.  In the long run I’m also contemplating creating fabric designs based on extant medieval printed fabrics.  There is so much material to draw upon for inspiration!  I just wish Spoonflower offered a linen fabric option, but hopefully someday they will.
