I have been ill for six years, disabled for two, and have only now finally received a diagnosis. The path to that diagnosis has been a constant battle with the health care system in the US, its reluctance to treat those who don’t have financial resources to bleed, and its reluctance to acknowledge that my illness is real and debilitating. Over the past two days I’ve been working on a batch of eight textured acrylic mini canvas board minimalist paintings (For being minimalist, the description sure is a mouth-full!). They are mostly on 3″x5″ canvas board, with one 4″x5″ and one 5″x7″. This entry shows the WIP photos I took along the way as I created layers.
