Letter of Marque for Lady Meala Cambeul, presented by Sigridr, Lady Caidis, Princess of the Kingdom of Caid, Society for Creative Anacronism, presented at Patrero War 2015.

The lower case letters are written in insular minuscule (pointed minuscule), and the upper case letters are written in insular half-uncial (insular majuscule).  This is actually the first real piece of calligraphy I have created since I was a teenager, the first piece I have created using dip calligraphy nibs, and the first time I have written in pointed minuscule.  It’s by no means free of mistakes, but overall I was extremely happy with how it came out, especially considering the difficulty of writing in pointed minuscule.  From what I hear it was very well received as well, which makes me very happy.

I created the Marque on May 15, 2015, and waited to post it until after it was presented.
