I got a new kitten a few days ago and she has had some litter box issues, so here is a sigil for kitties to reliably use the litter box. I created this in addition to taking all possible steps to make the litter box as attractive as possible, and I recommend doing the same if you actually want success in this area. No amount of spellwork is going to cause a cat to use the litter box if it is dirty and unappealing, and really, who could blame them?

In the case of our new kitten, she seems intimidated by the large, deep litter box we have for our other very large kitties (just shy of and just over 20 lbs each), and she’s not terribly fond of the renewable cat litter. So, for now we have provided her with a shallow litter box with clay litter and attractant in both boxes, and so far it’s been looking good. As she grows and becomes comfortable with using the toilet in the designated area, we hope to once again get away from using the clay litter, but the most important detail is for all the cats to use the litter box.
