Brocade and Leather Steampunk Corset
This is a back-dated post for my archive project, where I am copying over every piece of art I have ever submitted to DeviantArt, with the original submission date or watermarked year stamp, so a complete archive of my work can be found on this website, even if the item was never or is no longer displayed in my portfolios.

Commissioned custom steampunk underbust corset.
Core is two layers of corset coutil, boned with 1/4″ and 1/2″ wide spring steel flats. Busk is 8″ long. The buckles and edging are leather. The cover is a last-minute choice upholstery brocade. The first cover the customer chose didn’t work as well as we expected (actually, it looked horrible when sewn into panels and refused to pattern match in any descent way), so it is now the lining.
