Today I was finally looking back through some old messages on DeviantArt, and came across a couple comments from another corset maker.  I decided to go check out her gallery, and found an absolutely delightful array of unique, inspired creations that are well worth checking out.  What I also found was a sub-gallery where she has pictures and illustrations of a handful of authentic late Victorian and Edwardian corsets.  If you like looking at the real deal, go check it out.  The piecing of some of the corsets is fascinating to me.
