Immediately after finishing the open hood, I started work on another small embroidery project.  This one is a needle book, an addition to my sewing kit so I don’t have to lug jarringly modern looking accessories to events with me.

The design is my own, modeled after Viking age great wyrm designs.  Each side of the needle book will have a slightly different wyrm on it.  The embroidery is cotton floss in stem stitch, on a linen ground.
