After a painfully unproductive week last week, I am sewing like crazy to get as much done as possible before Nova Albion. Thus, no photos.  Sorry folks, but I’m not taking the time to prep them, and I don’t have a handy-dandy-super-speedy data phone through which to upload.

I’ve been scything leather to make dark brown leather gaiters.  It’s heavy-weight bullhide, which is a fantastic leather for this.  It just absolutely requires scything in order to sew together nicely.

I’m also sewing a second kimono, this one out of a cranberry-colored linen-look fabric.

So, anyway, yay for fast updates while taking a quick breather.  Maybe I should sign up for Twitter…..
